Bosses had announced that popular TV show Peep Show will be removed from Netflix UK in September.

Fans were left raging about the news and aired their frustration on social media.

But now the streaming giant has done a U-turn and decided to keep the popular British comedy series.

A fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter to ask: “The date warning badge has now been removed from Peep Show…can you confirm, Netflix?”

Netflix responded: “It was decided this would have been so not Rainbow Rhythms, so Peep Show will remain on Netflix.”

Fans were relieved to find out the beloved show will remain.

One wrote: “I see. You were lampooning us. It was a simple lampoon.”

A second penned: “You had us for a second Netflix.”

A third added: “We love you Netflix.”

Peep Show, created by David Mitchell, Robert Webb, and Jesse Armstrong, ran from 2003 to 2015 with 54 episodes across nine series.

The announcement sparked outrage on social media, with many threatening to cancel their Netflix subscription.

One said: “Peep show is leaving Netflix screaming and crying and throwing up.”

A second added: “Oh my god can’t believe they’re cancelling Peep show.”

A third panned: “If they cancel Peep show, I’m leaving Netflix honestly.”
